Unwrapping
The stuffing is fluffing
All over the room. I rest, but then, My work I resume. Unwrapping the present, Not easy to do, But very good thing Once it is through. This wrapping, it holds, A dear precious gift. One that near no one I think can resist. I'm unwrapping memories, Unwrapping the joy. But this gift is special, It's not a toy. It must be treated With careful precision. Especially wisely In every decision. What am I unwrapping? Well what can I say? You see, I'm unwrapping The gift of today. Age 13 |
