Spring
When the flowers peep from the dewy ground
And crickets murmur all around,
The softest wind has come to play
And sun has warmed the snow away,
When dandelions overnight
Make your yard a kid’s delight,
And trees half-dressed in tiny leaves
Shiver at the slightest breeze,
When bicycles through puddles glide
And rivulets with the curb confide,
When slaty vistas blue become,
That’s when you know that spring has come.
