Choices

Which toothpaste to use?
Which clothes in the drawer?
Which flower to pick?
Which treat at the store?
Orange juice aplenty
Or coffee for two?
The left or the right,
The pink or the blue?
To buy or to build?
To stir or to shake?
Oh how can we choose,
When there’s so much at stake?
To live and to laugh,
Or to whine and to frown?
To uphold your promise,
Or let people down?
To live for yourself
Or to die for your King?
To rattle your cage
Or to rise up and sing?
The myriad voices
Beckon and sway
But you make the choices
That carry the day.
